The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on Monday officially unveiled Nepal’s new national cricket jersey, marking the country’s build-up to a busy ICC calendar that includes the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 and the Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier.
The jersey was launched at a special event in Kathmandu, attended by both men’s and women’s national team players, with CAN confirming that the new strip will be worn across Nepal’s next ICC assignments. The unveiling also coincided with the ICC Trophy Tour (with DP World), adding to the significance of the occasion.
Dubbed the new “Rhino kit”, the jersey reflects Nepal cricket’s growing identity on the global stage. Several senior internationals from both squads appeared in the new colours during the launch, as CAN shared images and videos from the ceremony across its official platforms.
Alongside the jersey reveal, national players were felicitated and honoured for their contributions, turning the event into a celebration of Nepal’s recent progress in international cricket. The kit has been manufactured by Indian sportswear brand T10, while Bhatbhateni Holding Pvt. Ltd. has been named the official apparel partner.

CAN confirmed that the men’s team will wear the new jersey at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, which will be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8. Nepal have been placed in Group C, alongside England, West Indies, Bangladesh and Italy, and are scheduled to play all four of their group matches in Mumbai.
The women’s national team will also don the same jersey at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier, which Nepal will host at home starting next week — a major opportunity for the side to push for a maiden World Cup appearance.
The launch of a unified jersey for both teams underlines CAN’s intent to project a strong and consistent national identity as Nepal continues its rise in international cricket. With the world’s attention set to turn to India and Sri Lanka next month, Nepal’s new colours will soon be on display on one of the sport’s biggest stages.
