The United States have announced their 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, scheduled to be played across India and Sri Lanka next month.
Led once again by Monank Patel, the squad features a strong core of players from the 2024 edition, as USA prepare for their second appearance at the global tournament following a historic debut campaign two years ago.
The Americans famously reached the Super Eight stage in 2024, highlighted by their stunning victory over Pakistan in Dallas — a result that reshaped perceptions of Associate cricket on the world stage.
Strong core retained from 2024 campaign
USA have opted for continuity, with 10 players returning from the squad that impressed at the previous T20 World Cup.
Alongside captain Patel, experienced campaigners such as Jessy Singh, Andries Gous, Milind Kumar, Shayan Jahangir, Harmeet Singh, Nosthush Kenjige, Shadley van Schalkwyk, Saurabh Netravalkar and Ali Khan all retain their places.
Wicketkeeper-batter Andries Gous was the standout performer with the bat in 2024, finishing as USA’s leading run-scorer with 219 runs, while left-arm pacer Netravalkar topped the bowling charts for his side with six wickets.
New faces earn World Cup call-ups
The squad also includes a few fresh names, with Shubham Ranjane poised to make his T20 International debut at the marquee ICC event.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Mohsin and Shehan Jayasuriya could earn their first international caps, adding further depth and flexibility to the American lineup.

Building on a historic breakthrough
USA’s dramatic Super Over victory against Pakistan in 2024 remains one of the most memorable moments in T20 World Cup history and served as a landmark achievement for cricket in the United States.
With much of that squad retained and several promising additions included, the Americans will be hoping to replicate — or even surpass — their breakthrough performance as they return to the world stage in 2026.
